Thad Perry, Ph.D.

Executive Director

Also known as TDog, Thad is the quintessential over-achiever.  He brings years of  business and creative experience  to the SpinWeezle team.  His true entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership skills are an invaluable asset to SpinWeezle Media Group.

Thad earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology with minor in saxophone performance and history from Clark University and both his Masters and Ph.D from Vanderbilt University.  He is a former West Pointer and a retired Army officer and band commander for the Tennessee Army Band.

He is regarded as one of the Nation's leading Healthcare Informaticists and provides a level of fiscal and business acumen rarely found in the creative industry.  These skills coupled with his creative contributions make him a highly effective media professional.

Not only serving as director of development and business  management, Thad is an integral part of our creative team.  He is a published author, a licensed FAA pilot, he shoots, he edits, provides our clients quality drone footage, he acts, provides voice and on-screen talent, among other things. He is also an active member of the Angel Investors Network and the TN Biz Foundry.  Like I said, he is an over-achiever.  He strives for excellence and delivers.  Thad is a complete failure when it comes to success.

Self-proclaimed recovering singer-songwriter, MC Potts is the one and only SpinWeezle and she comes to the SpinWeezle table with a tool box full of power tools accumulated over 25 years in Nashville.  Her creative vision, innovative resourcefulness and sheer tenacity make her a great addition to any project.

Out of the gate, MC hit the ground running by signing a publishing deal with Greenwood Music and a record deal with BMG.  She has  written a number of songs recorded by other major label artists garnering her several RIAA certified gold and platinum awards.  As a recording artist, she had 3 top twenty singles, the last of which peaked at number 5 on Billboard Magazine's Singles Chart; she had 3 videos on CMT, the last of which was in CMT's top 100 videos of all time and she sold over 250 thousand records.  Her tenacity generated a ton of industry accolades, from her centerfold feature in Country Weekly Magazine to her nomination as "Female Star of Tomorrow" and performing with LeeAnn Rimes, Jodi Messina and Deana Carter on the Music City News award show.  MC has toured extensively nationally and overseas performing for the USO opening for acts from the Goo Goo Dolls and the Doobie Brothers to Vince Gill and Lee Ann Rimes.

As co-founder of a successful grassroots artist management firm, her practical experience as a touring artist proved invaluable to artists like Michael Martin Murphey, Sammy Kershaw and Ken Mellons, Travis Tritt and George Jones.  Since moving to Nashville in '92, MC's extensive experience in every facet of the entertainment industry has earned her a great reputation and quality relationships.  Whether it is A&R, music production, artist management, publicity, marketing, radio promotion and now visual media production, MC's diverse of entertainment expertise provides SpinWeezle's clients the assurance their projects will have the edge needed to get noticed amidst the minutia of products vying for attention.
